Creating a profile

  • How do I create a profile on Rayo? Creating a profile is easy and only takes a few minutes. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
    • Head over to rayo.gg.
    • Click the “Connect Wallet” button on the navigation bar (or the profile icon on mobile).
    • Choose your preferred wallet from the list of over 15 supported options. Popular options include MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, and WalletConnect.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions from your chosen wallet. This typically involves selecting an account and signing a message.

  • How can I submit my project on Rayo? Got something in the works? Rayo lets you showcase your project to an early community of Web3 curators.
    • Head to the Submit a Project page and connect your wallet.
    • Fill out details like your project’s name, website, description, social links, logo, and screenshots.
    • Once submitted, your project will go live immediately — ready to start receiving votes from the community.
  • Do I need to complete a Profile to submit a Project?
    • Connecting your wallet is required to submit a project.
    • You’ll also need 10 Points to be eligible — you can earn them by completing your profile or voting (each vote earns you 2 Points).
    • While profile completion isn’t mandatory, it helps build credibility and improves how your project is perceived by the community.

The voting process

  • Who can vote on projects? Anyone & everyone can participate in voting on Rayo! To have your vote counted, you’ll need an account with at least 3 Points.

  • What projects can I vote on? You can vote on any project on Rayo — whether it’s newly submitted or already gaining traction. Every vote you cast helps signal credibility, highlight quality, and surface the best projects to the broader community. More votes = more trust.
  • How do I earn Points through voting?
    • Earn 2 Points for every project you vote on
    • You can vote on as many projects as you want (once per project)
    • Votes are permanent and cannot be undone
  • How do I cast a vote? Voting is super simple — no wallet signing required:
    1. Browse and find a project you want to support
    2. Click the button on the project card or project page
    3. That’s it — your vote is recorded instantly
    You can’t vote on your own project. Each user can vote only once per project.
