# Submit a project

Submitting a project on **Rayo** is your entry point to gaining early attention, community support, and reputation. Whether you're launching something new or spotlighting a hidden gem, Rayo helps you get seen.

### **Before You Start**

To submit, you must have **10 Points**.

Earn them by:

* Creating an account (3 Points)
* Completing your profile (7 Points)
* Voting on projects (2 Points per vote)

Once you hit 10 Points, you can submit your project directly from [rayo.gg](http://rayo.gg).

### **Submission Checklist**

To make your project eligible for submission and community voting, your submission must be 100% complete. Here's the step-by-step breakdown based on the current UI:

**1. General Info**

This is the first impression. Keep it crisp, complete, and compelling.

* **Project Name**: Must match your branding on social and website
* **Project URL**: Paste your main site or landing page (no Linktree here)
* **One-Line Description**: A short, catchy elevator pitch (max 60 characters)
* **Twitter (X) Username**: Provide your @handle (no need for full URL)
* **Project Description**: Up to 800 characters. Share what your project does, who it's for, and why it matters

Click `Next Blockchain Info` to move forward.

**2. Blockchain Info**

Show us where your project lives onchain and how it fits into the stack.

* **Built on Which Chain**: Select at least one blockchain
* **Infrastructure**: Optional – select infra tools or protocols used
* **Project Category**: Choose at least one category (up to 5)
* **Project Stage**: Select development stage (idea, MVP, live, etc.)
* **Smart Contract Addresses**: Add contract names and addresses if available
* **Token Details**: Add your token’s name and contract (if applicable)
* **Resources & Docs**: Link to whitepaper, litepaper, or technical docs

Click `Next Media Info`.

**3. Media Info**

Visuals sell attention. Use this space to showcase the best of your build.

* **Project Logo**: Required. Upload a 240x240 image (JPG, PNG, GIF; max 2MB)
* **Screenshots**: Required. Upload **at least 2** images (1200x630 recommended, max 2MB each)
* **Video Teaser**: Optional – embed a Loom or YouTube demo

Click `Next`.

**4. Additional Info**

Let the community discover more ways to connect.

* **Collaborators**: Add teammate wallets or usernames
* **Open Source**: Check if your project is open source
* **Social Links**: Add links to all your active channels:
  * Discord
  * Telegram
  * Farcaster
  * Twitter / X
  * GitHub
  * YouTube
  * Mirror
  * Lens
  * LinkedIn
  * Others…

Click `Next`.

**5. Final Checklist**

Before you hit “Submit,” make sure all required fields are complete.

You’ll see a summary checklist highlighting missing fields like:

* Tagline (one-liner)
* Twitter/X handle
* Chains
* Project category
* Project logo
* Gallery (screenshots)

Once everything is ✅, the `Submit` button will be active.

* Your project will go live instantly on **Rayo**
* It becomes discoverable and votable by the community
* Every vote you receive adds credibility and attention — the more votes, the stronger the signal

### Tips for a Strong Submission

* Use high-quality visuals and a polished logo
* Be clear about what problem your project solves
* Link to active social channels — it helps build trust
* Tag your teammates as collaborators
* Add open-source repos if applicable

* **What type of projects can I submit?** A: Any project within the Web3 ecosystem can be submitted. However, it should be:
  * Legitimate and secure (no scams!)
  * User-ready with minimal bugs and fully functional features.
  * Built on at least one of our supported blockchains.
  * Aligned with one or more of our supported categories.
* **Can I submit someone else's project?** Absolutely! Please share the project on social media, tag the official handles, or post it within their communities to spread the word. Direct project and community support can significantly increase its acceptance.
* **Can I showcase my own project?** We encourage you to share your projects! This is a great way to gather valuable feedback and improve your creation. Just ensure your project is complete and functional.
